Our malts for the German Lagers come from Weyermanns Malting house in Germany. They have been in business since 1749. We use noble hops for our lagers. Malting Company of Ireland supplies our malt for the Irish Stout.
What bar would be complete without a few games to blow off steam? After you grab a drink, feel free to ask any of our staff to borrow a pool cue or set up the pucks and play away! In addition, we provide free pool all day every Tuesday!
The brewery uses the famous waters of Excelsior Springs to brew the German beers of old. The saloon is an historic Schlitz bar that served one of the most popular German lagers in America. Many of our beers are named for the twenty-nine mineral springs that people from all over country came to enjoy the healing qualities of the water. Hopefully our beer can help heal your mind and soul.
Wheat beer to tribute Wabash BBQ our local award winning BBQ restaurant. It has a smoked malt with Warrior hops to give it a green wood flavor with a smokey aroma.
A German Lager brewed in the spirit of Joseph Schlitz. Salta Brew has a Bohemian yeast that is similar to yeast Schlitz used in the 1860’s. Six row barley was prominently used in German lagers which was not readily available in the US. We use a Six row barley to follow the German tradition. It is a clean crisp German lager that has a hint of citrus. (18 IBU)
The name says it all! A German Kolsch brewed in the tradition of Germany. You can find Crystal Lithia Springs on Saratoga Ave. There is a Gazebo built on the springs to mark the spot. (29 IBU)
Brewed in the tradition of Hallertau region of Bavaria. Helles is blonde beer with a muted hops character and soft malty accent. The hallertau hops was first cultivated in 800 AD by the Monks. German Pilsner malt and noble hop like Hallertau is brewed to make this a traditional Helles. (20 IBU)
Brewed in the tradition of the oldest German Amber lager made in American. Traditional German Malts to for a smooth mouth feel with a light hops addition to accent the sweet malty flavor.
A Belgium Dubbel brewed with specialty malts to give you a sweet candied taste with Belgium yeast to add banana aroma and flavor on the front.
A traditional Irish Stout brewed with a heavy grain bill to bring out many flavors. This a smooth stout that easy on the tongue. The flavor explodes with each sip. (19 IBU)
A bold Ale that the scots toasted in the saloons of Scotland. The malt creates a sweetness that puts a smile on your palate. This dark beer will flow with flavor. The high ABV is there but not in taste. (57 IBU)

We released 13 Seconds on December 13th in commemoration of the Chiefs victory over the Bills in the playoffs. We brewed it on March 13th. Barrel aged in Blue Corn Bourbon barrel from Wood Hat Distillery. It is a dark ale with 13 grains and 13 ABV. $10 for a 6 ounce pour. It is a big beer with a bold taste.
The Chiefs kicked the game winning field goal to beat the Bengals with 8 seconds. This beer is an Irish Extra Stout with a big chocolate flavor. Brewed with Hunts Ketchup......Mahomes likes Hunts on everything.....a little kick at the end.
